Do it online via <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.canalrivertrust.org.uk\/Bookings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this page<\/a>, make sure you get a confirmation back.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure you have a copy of the relevant tideway handbook \u2013 see links below<\/li>\n<li>Check the tide times, links on this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thamescruising.co.uk\/?p=44\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">page<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Aim to leave at HW Teddington (or up to 30 minutes before), ie 30-60 minutes after HW London Bridge. This will mean that the ebb tide is not running too strongly when you arrive at Brentford. On the left you can see Brentford Dock Marina (lots of 1970s flats &#8211; more history <a href=\"http:\/\/www.disused-stations.org.uk\/b\/brentford_dock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>).
